HAVELSAN, one of the leading military technology firms in Turkey, chose TURBOARD to drive operational excellence.

Founded in 1982, HAVELSAN with its deep-rooted experience has been providing high technology and software-intensive solutions to the Turkish Armed Forces, public and private entities, and many other international customers, currently serving them through a team of 2,200+ highly competent professionals.

HAVELSAN is using SAP ERP to run and manage its various business units, a CRM software to manage interactions with their customers, and a PPM system for projects’ management, an HR software, and an issue tracking/ticketing software. Additionally, some of their financial data are imported and saved in Excel files.

With their operational data accumulating from the different departments and business units, it is no longer enough to process the data using the traditional ways and access it from multiple systems for business operations.

Having that in mind, HAVELSAN started seeking a business intelligence solution that would fuse their data and provide new levels of insights.

HAVELSAN heard compliments about TURBOARD’s reporting and analytics capabilities at one of their business meetings with the Turkish Ministry of Health, a client of TURBOARD as well. Therefore, they decided to contact TURBOARD to explore how they can use their data to make better strategic decisions and improve day-to-day operations.

TURBOARD integrated all HAVELSAN data from its different data sources, and brought it into a centralized, unified reporting platform, with easy-to-use dashboards and smart visualizations. Phase 1 of this project took only 21 days to complete, during which TURBOARD achieved to come up with a showcase that impressed the General Manager in such a short time.

Each week, executive board members take the pulse of operations and financials via GM's presentation on “Kokpit”, TURBOARD’s white-labeled dashboards in HAVELSAN.
